Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many talents, including being able to direct, act production, create plays, teach, and be Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk is daughter of a Briton, and an Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. As a young child, she was featured in a variety of commercials. Anna relocated to Toronto Ontario in order to pursue her acting. Over the years which followed, she made the move into Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They were engaged by 2009 after getting married. Anna had changed her religion to Judaism and married Seth Cooperman in Fredericton. Bo's same-sex relationship and Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was noted in the list of CNN's all-time Favorite TV Couples as well as named the most popular TV Couple in 2013, by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's social media following grew due to the popularity of her show.
