KingDue to the collaborations he had with Lil Durk, Bennett signed to the Durk record label Only the Family. Bennett adopted the stage name King Von and had his first song "Crazy Story", made available in December 2018. The song peaked at number 80 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 32 on the Hot Hip-Hop/R&B Songs chart; it also gained millions of views on YouTube. Von was also the first to release "Crazy Story 2.0", the sequel to his hit song. The sequelthat features Lil Durk is a remix to the original. The sequel/remix dubbed "Crazy Story 3.0" was also released in September.
